THE CHALLENGE

HR Acuity was looking to elevate its company brand presence and thought leadership of its CEO Deb Muller through a strategic speaking and award program. Next PR stepped in to research, craft and submit for opportunities that would bolster both the brand and Muller within the HR space.

 

HOW WE GOT THERE

Next PR began by researching relevant speaking and award opportunities to present to HR Acuity. For the submissions, the team targeted industry events and programs where it knew core buyers would be – HR technology, HR software awards and SHRM events. Once approved, the team built a speaking and award calendar to keep track of the timelines and requirements for each opportunity.

Next PR worked with the team writer to craft the submissions, keeping in mind HR Acuity’s core target audience, HR decision-makers, and ensuring each opportunity tied back to the client’s goal to better position itself in the space and in front of these potential customers.

The team also took an integrated approach by tying in its media strategy with relevant speaking events, offering Muller to speak on timely topics such as Diversity & Inclusion and using data and analytics to create fairer workplaces.

THE RESULTS

Within the past year, the team secured six award wins for HR Acuity and Muller, including Great Place to Work certification, Stevie Awards for Great Employers, IBA Stevie Awards, two Women in Business Awards and Fortune’s Best Small and Medium Workplaces Award.

Next PR also secured two speaking opportunities for Muller – SHRM Diversity and Inclusion Conference and SHRM’S GSC Conference – which helped boost her credibility as a thought leader on HR topics and drive brand awareness for HR Acuity.
